Born in Boston USA
Lived in UK since 1973
Playing guitar from the age of 15

CJ has been into Jazz, Western and Latin Rock, Metal, Thrash, Grunge etc since age 17 Yeah, quite an eclectic mix of styles.

Being a self taught guitarist Chris initially played with his sister, recording artist Heidi Berry, on four CDs and tours across the UK, USA and Europe. CJ Berry has extensive live/concert and studio recording experience played with many different bands.

Namely; Jaki Graham, Shola Ama, and supported The Indigo girls, Everything But The Girl, Brendan Perry and Dead Can dance, The Pixies and The Throwing Muses.

CJ is currently recording a four track CD of his original jazz-latin-club material due for release sometime in October 2006. Also check out ROCKIT as Chris has played guitar extensively on most of their tracks!

CJ Berry has played guitar with:

Tarantula the London jazz ensemble.

Paul Weinreb a renowned jazz pianist, Musical Director/Composer and founder of
Tarantula.

Bilbo Berger the drummer of the classic 70’s funk band Heat Wave whose hits include
Boogy Nights and Mind Blowing Decisions

Claude Deppa the south african trumpet player who has played with Art Blakey and Courtney Pine.

CJ Berry has also recorded on four CDs and albums with Heidi Berry as electric and acoustic guitarist, pianist, mandolinist and string arranger.
